Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Management / Account Manager Intern to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This immersive internship provides hands-on exposure to customer account management, cross-functional project coordination, and high-performance interconnect solutions supporting leading technology customers.

This role is ideal for students interested in project management, business operations, sales support, or customer-facing technical environments within a fast-paced, global manufacturing organization.

At Amphenol, interns are not observers — they are contributors. You will gain real-world experience supporting active customer programs and strategic initiatives that directly impact revenue, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Customer Support

  • Support Account Managers in managing customer relationships and day-to-day communication.
  • Assist in tracking customer forecasts, orders, and program timelines.
  • Participate in customer meetings and internal alignment discussions.
  • Help prepare presentations, status updates, and business review materials.

Project Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality).
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) tracking and program updates.
  • Help identify and escalate potential risks impacting customer delivery or timelines.

Data & Business Analytics

  • Analyze sales data, backlog, and forecast trends.
  • Support margin tracking and pricing analysis initiatives.
  • Assist with reporting metrics and dashboard preparation.
  • Help improve process visibility and documentation workflows.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, communication, or tracking processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the business unit.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
    • Supply Chain
    • Project Management
    • Finance or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Excel and data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Interest in customer-facing business or technical program management
  • Experience with project tracking tools
  • Internship or leadership experience in student organizations
  • Interest in technology, hardware, or manufacturing industries
