Job Description

Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent of this position must ensure the proper functioning of the electronic control systems present on our production equipment or auxiliary systems.  He/she proposes improvement actions in order to keep all of our systems efficient and up-to-date.  He/she participates in the analysis of opportunities for continuous improvement.

Control systems:

  • Provide technical support to users while training them on the best use of the equipment in place;
  • Sees to identifying actions to improve or update existing equipment.  Make recommendations to their immediate supervisor by establishing a realistic budget;
  • Maintain all technical documentation related to his/her activities (technical plan, work procedure, etc.) Can act as a technical advisor to our plant in Cornwall or our division  Glopak Equipment;
  • Conduct regular inspections of systems to ensure that they are working properly;
  • Keep a close follow-up with the buyer on certain critical parts in stock;
