Overnight Manager - Guest Relations

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and service-oriented candidate for the position of Overnight Manager of Guest Relations. In this role, you will oversee the overnight operations of the Front Office departments and provide support to the daytime Guest Relations Managers. You will also be responsible for overseeing the overnight Valet, Housekeeping, and Security teams. Your primary duties will include upholding our company's high levels of service, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the security of the hotel. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role. As a successful candidate, you must possess excellent communication and computer skills. Additionally, you should be a team player and be available to work weekends and holidays. Previous experience in Room Division is a must.


Responsibilities:

- Oversee the operations of the Front Office departments during the overnight shift

- Provide support to the daytime Guest Relations Managers

- Monitor and manage the overnight Valet, Housekeeping, and Security teams

- Uphold our company's high levels of service and ensure guest satisfaction

- Foster a positive team culture and promote teamwork among staff members

- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the overnight shift

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during the overnight shift

- Handle any emergency situations that may arise during the overnight shift

- Maintain professional relationships with guests, staff, and management


Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of front office operations and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software

- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during the overnight shift

- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in stressful situations

- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols is a plus
