Position: Operation Maintenance  

The Facilities Specialist (Repair & Maintenance Specialist) plays an essential role within our Repair & Maintenance Call Center. This position is responsible for routing work orders, troubleshooting basic store maintenance issues, coordinating repair solutions, and supporting departmental administrative needs. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and skilled at working with both internal teams and external vendors.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly


Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility infrastructure.

  • Monitor progress to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.

2. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Request quotes, schedule contractor services, and verify compliance with safety, property, and quality standards.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with third-party vendors.

  • Submit vendor invoices through internal accounting software and track approvals to ensure timely payment.

3. Troubleshooting & Facility Support

  • Support store operations by helping diagnose and resolve minor HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance concerns.

  • Escalate complex or urgent issues to appropriate specialists to reduce operational downtime.

4. Reporting, Presentation & Internal Communication

  • Provide updates and progress reports during monthly management meetings.

  • Prepare and compile reports—including spending summaries, timelines, and project updates—using tools such as PowerPoint.
