Senior Broker Financial Lines

What will the job entail?

• As a Senior Broker within the Aon Financial Services Group, you are an expert in highly technical insurance solutions, like e.g. Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Liability, Crime and Cyber Risks for both commercial companies, financial institutions and professional services companies.
• You will act as an intermediary between the client and insurance companies. You will need to listen and understand the clients’ needs and find appropriate insurance solutions on the local and international markets meeting the client's demands.
• You are responsible for the negotiation and implementation of the insurance program all the while giving support and providing advice to the client in relation to such insurance program during the length of its contract.
• You are able to manage complex contracts and negotiate a policy wording which offers your client the best coverage available on the insurance market
• You are based in Brussels and you work in close cooperation with your colleagues based in London.

Job requirements

• You hold a Master in Law or Economics and have over 7 years of relevant experience in the Insurance/Banking Industry or Consulting.
• You are autonomous with a high sense of responsibility and eager to deliver the highest quality results.
• You have good technical and project management skills that allow you to instantly to pick up and manage a considerable portfolio with a wide array of business lines and types of clients within the deadlines.
• You are to the point and strong in internal and external communication, negotiation and collaboration.
• You are client- and solution minded
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
