Position Summary:
The Tech Support Technician provides district-wide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for staff, students, and classrooms. Responsibilities include troubleshooting devices and systems, supporting instructional technology, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring reliable operations across all district technology environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows and ChromeOS.
- Support classroom AV equipment and instructional technology.
- Maintain, inventory, and deploy devices district-wide.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity.
- Provide user account assistance and application support.
- Maintain accurate help desk documentation.
- Support staff in integrating technology into instruction.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team approach and in a service-oriented manner
Licenses / Special Requirements:
- Mandatory safety training and fingerprinting required.
Physical Requirements Include:
Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, manage frequent interruptions, and maintain focus in a school environment. May be exposed to infectious disease.

Technology Director.
Evaluation:
Evaluated according to district procedures based on performance of essential duties.
