Location: Sherman, TX
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (~130 hours/month)
Clinic Hours:

• Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Sat–Sun: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus
  Benefits: Full benefits package available

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Sherman, TX. This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, variety, and a fast-paced urgent care environment with strong clinical support.

You’ll be supported by experienced clinical teams, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership. The patient population is broad, with mostly low-acuity cases that keep your skills sharp without inpatient follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Perform procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, etc.)
• Communicate treatment plans and discharge instructions clearly
• Document care efficiently in the EHR
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license (NP or PA)
• Board certification (AANP/ANCC for NP, NCCPA for PA)
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat all ages
• Active BLS certification
• Willingness to work rotating weekends/holidays
• Willingness to obtain DOT certification (covered by NextCare)

Preferred Qualifications

• Urgent care, ER, or fast-track experience
• Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
