POSITION SUMMARY
The Front Desk position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and providing excellent customer service in a campground setting. They help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests and contribute to the overall success of the campground. Other duties may include the coffee bar and store.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and Welcome Guests: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests approaching the front desk.
- Guest Services: Handle guest concerns and complaints thoughtfully while maintaining campground standards.
- Reservations and Check-ins: Register guests, issue keys, keep records of occupied sites, make and confirm reservations, and collect payments.
- Information Provider: Answer inquiries about campground amenities and local attractions.
- Team Communication: Maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments.
- Store Management: Help maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized store.
- Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism, customer service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Prepare and Serve Beverages: Make and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Menu Knowledge: Educate customers on the drink menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar area clean and organized, including sanitizing equipment and work areas.
- Stock Management: Ensure the coffee bar is well-stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with brewing equipment and point-of-sale systems (training provided).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and ensure consistency in beverage preparation.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with other staff members in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus, but not always required.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent guest service both over the phone and in person.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with reservation software and front desk equipment (training provided).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle guest issues respectfully and efficiently.
- Flexibility: Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
