Job Description

Mission Partner Integration - IMD SME

The Garrett Group (TGG) is hiring for a mid-level Mission Partner Integration SME in support of USSTRATCOM J7 general, campaign, and strategic assessments tasks including day-to-day, crisis action, and Tier 1 exercises. Duties include drafting, editing, and publishing (as required) Strategic, Campaign, and Crisis Planning Assessments; and collecting and analyzing data including, finished intelligence, open source reports, after action reports, and component inputs. Examples of analysis include: identification of operational shortfalls, risks, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps; identification of factors leading to progression toward/regression from Campaign objectives; identification of military and strategic risks and vulnerabilities; and doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) gaps.

Position requirements:

  • Possess at least 7 years of total experience in Global Strike, Space, IMD and/or NC3
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in USSTRATCOM JFCC IMD or Missile Defense Agency and/or National-level IMD plans, policies and objectives
  • Critical thinking skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Ability to prepare a well-grounded, defensible argument
  • Understand the interrelationships between domain of expertise and other domains
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization desired
  • At least 2 years' experience conducting mission analysis, developing objectives, effects/measures.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team of effectiveness, tasks/measures of performance, and indicators.
