Be part of a high performing small team charged with helping a government customer transition critical technology to users, support the highest impact missions, and effectively communicate the success of innovative technical capabilities and programs.
Responsibilities
- Establish quick wins by gathering and documenting qualitative and quantitative evidence of impact to missions supported by technical programs.
- Develop a set of investment review criteria and processes to ensure that programs map to customer mission needs.
- Categorize the technical investment portfolio by priority mission needs and identify redundancies or gaps.
- Establish success criteria and document progress and mission impact of innovative technical programs
- Use tools including Advanced Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau to document, analyze, visualize, and communicate important success metrics, trends and decision-support information s in a manner that resonates with both technical and non technical audiences
- Engage with customers/users across stakeholders to collect highlights, success stories, feedback, and metrics
- Work with communications lead to effectively convey to leadership and other stakeholders progress and achievement and how that progress aligns with strategic priorities.
Required Skills
- 5+ years in the IC
- Technical acumen, familiarity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn about diverse mission and technical capabilities
- Experience developing and managing mission value narratives and technology/program success metrics
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills with experience in associated tools (PowerBI, Tableau, other)
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders and audiences
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to convey impact to senior audiences
- Willingness to commute to Bethesda
