Job Description
  • Comply with PepsiCo’s Code of Conduct.
  • Adhere to PepsiCo Food Safety Standards.
  • Follow company policies related to security, safety, food safety, and environmental/resource conservation.
  • Propose new ideas and appropriate solutions to problems that negatively affect product safety.
  • Achieve KPI targets according to the AOP.
  • Ensure implementation of food safety requirements within production departments through regular daily inspections across the site.
  • Review and follow up on the execution of food safety plans across different departments.
  • Participate in delivering food safety training programs to raise awareness among employees in all departments.
  • Assist in developing HACCP plans.
  • Participate in conducting periodic internal audits according to PepsiCo, AIB, FSSC, and NFSA standards in production areas and warehouses.
  • Ensure proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions according to the action plan.
  • Supervise the application of standard cleaning and sanitation procedures for equipment.
  • Coordinate with the pest control team to implement the program as scheduled and report any infestations within the facility.
  • Participate in executing routine activities under consumer protection programs against manufacturing risks, such as preventive maintenance, periodic cleaning and sanitation of the site and production lines, and employee training programs.
  • Assist in investigating and documenting food safety incidents and ensure corrective and preventive measures are taken.
  • Follow up on product hold, release, traceability, and recall processes related to food safety.
  • Attend monthly food safety meetings.
  • Conduct periodic document reviews across departments (Document Hunt).
  • Perform and review recall and traceability exercises as required.
  • Accompany external inspections (AIB, FSSC, National Food Safety Authority) within the facility.
  • Act as Food Safety Supervisor in their absence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Science.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and develop scientifically sound, innovative solutions.
