 Title: Lecturer (Religion)

Salary Information: Minimum $1,978 per credit hour. 

Full Time/Part Time: Part Time 

Temporary/Permanent: Temporary 


Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, Summer 2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds. 


Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Teach undergraduate courses in Religion, Classics, and/or Latin at the lower and upper division levels. 

2. Other related duties, including meeting course requirements as established by the department, preparing course syllabus, grading, maintaining weekly office hours. 

3. Other duties as required. 


Minimum Qualifications 

1. Master's degree in the academic study of religion or related field, recent approaches to religious studies and teaching experience. 


Desirable Qualifications

1. Ph.D. in the academic study of Religion, Classics, and/or Latin or related field or equivalent appropriate academic or professional training.
