Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Receptionist
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Saturdays (8 am - 1 pm) are required

Winsted Hospital for Animals is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant/CSR who loves to be a part of all the areas of the hospital. Working together to establish and uphold the highest standards of patient care, we believe that to care for our patients, we must also care for each other. What You’ll Do

  • Provide nursing care, monitor vital signs, and administer medications
  • Assist with patient appointments and client education
  • Perform lab work, radiographs, and other diagnostic tests
  • Educate pet owners on treatment plans and home care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Support hospital cleanliness, safety, and organization
