- Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teacher License in Elementary Education issued by the Colorado Department of Education
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and state assessments
- Ability to implement data-driven instruction within a standards-based classroom
- Experience teaching in a primary-grade-level classroom preferred
- Strong background in integrating reading, writing, and math problem-solving instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team; experience with data-driven instruction preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in instructional technology preferred

Salary Information
Salary Range: $47,750 � $103,021, based on the 2025�2026 Salary Schedule. Final salary placement will be determined upon completion of negotiations.
All verified years of relevant experience will be credited based on education and experience. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule, depending on education and experience. Tuition reimbursement opportunities are available to support continued professional growth.
Position Summary
The Elementary Art Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality visual arts instruction that fosters creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill development in elementary students. The teacher will design and deliver standards-based lessons aligned to the Colorado Academic Standards for Visual Arts while supporting the academic, social-emotional, and creative growth of all learners. The Elementary Art Teacher will create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration of artistic techniques, appreciation of diverse cultures, and meaningful student expression through a variety of media.
