Job Description

 

Reporting to the Director & Manager of Special Events, this is a part-time position responsible for the safe serving of alcoholic beverages and other event tasks on Old Falls Street.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • This position has non-standard hours due to the events and activities taking place on evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Event Associate’s tasks include but are not limited to:
    • Keep the assigned area clean, tidy, and organized, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
    • Act as an ambassador for Old Falls Street and the City of Niagara Falls and provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries.
    • Perform assigned event tasks including but not limited to serving beer, working point of sale stations, admissions, and checking IDs/wrist bands.
    • Perform the job safely and in compliance with Old Falls Street policies, procedures, work and safety rules and the employee manual.
    • Maintain proper cash handling procedures at all times.
    • Perform other administrative or service functions as assigned for Old Falls Street events.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must be flexible on hours and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable refusing service to guests if necessary.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
