Job Description
Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Location: Edison, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a personable, organized, and detail-oriented front desk professional looking to grow in a dynamic healthcare environment? We’re looking for a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our expanding orthopedic practice.

This full-time position will be based in Edison, NJ Monday through Friday. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy working with people, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Do:
Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments with accuracy

Answer multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

Verify insurance coverage and ensure accurate patient intake and documentation

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 1 year working in a medical office (orthopedic or specialty experience a plus)

Language: Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Communication: Friendly, confident, and effective communicator with patients and colleagues

Multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and standard office software

Pay Transparency Notice
In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, this position falls within Pay Grade 4 of the 2025 OPM Salary Table applicable to the NY, NJ, CT, and PA region. Final compensation will be based on experience and education.
