Pay Grade/Pay Range: $9.25/hour



Department/Organization: 505171 - Supply Store



Normal Work Schedule: Varies; includes home football games, summers, weekends, and extended hours as needed

Job Summary: The Undergraduate Cashiering Student Assistant provides retail support for an assigned area within the Supply Store. Works in the Student Center Supply Store. Operates cash register. Answers telephones. Serves customers. Merchandises products. Receives and stocks merchandise. Pulls and processes web orders. Prepares and assists with Store events. Cleans floors. Straightens shelves. Stocks shelves. Organizes stockroom. Cleans windows. Dusts. Cleans and SKUs books. Stocks books and supplies. Additional duties as needed.



Required Minimum Qualifications: Current University of Alabama undergraduate student. Ability to start work immediately. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, home football games, extended hours.

Preferred Qualifications: Retail or customer service experience.



Enrollment Requirements: Applicants must meet enrollment requirements to be eligible for on-campus student employment. Applicants must be enrolled in a UA degree program and meet minimum credit hour requirements during the academic year: Undergraduate Students must be registered for at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; Graduate Students must be registered for at least 4.5 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; International Students must be registered full-time (Undergraduate = 12 credit hours, Graduate = 9 credit hours) during fall/spring semesters. Enrollment requirements must be maintained for the duration of on-campus employment. Individual hiring departments and programs may also have additional eligibility requirements for employment.
