Job Description

Techwave – SAP PP Consultant (Project & Support)

Techwave is looking for an SAP PP Consultant to join our team and support both SAP implementation projects and ongoing SAP support activities.
The role offers a balanced mix of project-based work and operational support, providing long-term stability as well as exposure to complex SAP Production Planning processes.

You will work closely with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams in a consulting environment, supporting Hungarian and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP Consulting – Project & Support

• Supporting and customizing SAP PP (Production Planning) processes
• Handling incident management and change requests in support environments
• Participating in SAP implementation, rollout, and optimization projects
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into SAP PP solutions

Production & Manufacturing Processes

• Supporting core PP processes, including:
  • Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)
  • Demand Management & MRP
  • Production Orders
  • Capacity Planning
• Supporting production-related integrations with MM, SD, and CO

Project Activities

• Participating in blueprint workshops and requirement analysis
• System configuration and customizing
• Preparing functional specifications for developments
• Supporting testing phases (unit, integration, UAT)
• Supporting go-live and hypercare activities

Support Activities

• End-user support and issue resolution
• Root cause analysis and continuous process improvement
• Documentation of solutions and processes
• Knowledge transfer to business users

Requirements

Professional Experience

• 3+ years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant
• Experience in SAP support and project environments
• Experience with manufacturing companies or production processes

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP PP customizing
• Good understanding of end-to-end production planning processes
• Experience with PP integrations (MM, SD, CO)
• S/4HANA experience is an advantage

Language Skills

• English proficiency (working language of projects)

• Structured and analytical mindset
• Problem-solving attitude
• Customer- and service-oriented approach
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Working Conditions

• Hybrid work model: 2 days office / 3 days home office
