Industrial Maintenance Technician

(2nd Shift | Stable Schedule)


East Peoria, IL
$25–$30/hr. + Shift Differential + OT Potential
Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Full-Time

If you’re the kind of technician who can walk up to a machine, figure out what’s wrong, and get it running again—this is where you belong.

This is a hands-on maintenance role where you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment. Every shift brings something different, and your work directly impacts production.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, and systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and get equipment back online quickly
  • Replace components (bearings, belts, seals, valves, etc.)
  • Assist with equipment installs and upgrades
  • Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues
  • Track work orders and repairs in CMMS
  • Monitor equipment and catch issues before they become problems

Equipment You’ll Work On

  • Motors, pumps, compressors
  • Conveyor systems and production equipment
  • Electrical systems and controls
  • General facility systems

Tools & Tech

  • Hand and power tools
  • Multimeters and diagnostic equipment
  • CMMS/work order systems

Requirements

What You Need

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience (industrial, mechanical, or electrical)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills—you can work independently
  • Experience working with equipment in a production or facility setting
  • Ability to read schematics and manuals
  • Knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO, etc.)
  • Ability to handle physical work and stay active

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience with PLCs or control systems
  • Maintenance certifications (electrical, HVAC, OSHA)
  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with CNC equipment or blueprints
