UTEX Industries is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll transform engineering drawings into CNC programs and work closely with machinists to improve production efficiency and quality.
What You’ll Do:
- Create CNC programs for lathes and mills using CAD/CAM software
- Interpret engineering drawings and design tooling
- Partner with machinists to optimize production processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with CNC programming (1+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in MasterCam or similar software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus)
- Machinist experience is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Environment:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor
- Occasional overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment
