Senior Accounting Analyst


Role Summary


The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for executing and overseeing complex accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and full compliance with CPC and US GAAP standards. This role plays a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, performing critical account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and supporting internal and external audits.


The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical accounting guidance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and ERP systems. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.




Key Responsibilities



  • Execute and review the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with CPC and US GAAP standards.

  • Perform complex accounting classifications and reconcile critical balance sheet accounts.

  • Prepare and review journal entries related to provisions, amortizations, and various adjustments.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and technical explanations.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal corporate policies.

  • Develop management reports and perform variance analysis on key accounting indicators.

  • Implement continuous improvements in accounting processes and ERP systems.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for other analysts, providing guidance and support.




Technical Requirements Mandatory



  • Advanced English for strong verbal communication.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • Active CPA/CRC (preferred but not required).

  • Solid experience in general accounting, month-end close, and financial statements.

  • Advanced knowledge of CPC/US GAAP standards.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, OneStream, Hyperion/Oracle, TOTVS, or similar.


Preferred



  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in a related field.

  • Previous experience at a Big Four firm or in external audit.

  • Strong proficiency in management reporting and data analysis.
