The team you’ll be part of
The Asset Management team is responsible for managing and maximising value from AIP’s energy and infrastructure assets, with a strong emphasis on delivering best-in-class returns for our investors while maintaining a high standard of sustainability performance.
As a Senior Associate, you will be part of a collaborative and ambitious team focused on asset valuation, value optimisation, and reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain deep insight into renewable energy and infrastructure investments while developing advanced skills in valuation, financial modelling, and commercial analysis.
Your primary tasks will include
- Supporting AIP Managers and Directors with asset performance analysis and decision-making materials
- Driving asset and infrastructure projects end-to-end
- Taking responsibility for analytical aspects of infrastructure asset management, including asset valuations, financial impact assessments, performance tracking, and analysis of key issues and opportunities
- Reviewing and evaluating improvement initiatives and other decision-making materials from a commercial, financial, legal, technical, and analytical perspective
- Maintaining dialogue with asset operating managers and participating in progress meetings, board meetings, and similar forums
- Preparing and updating asset dashboards, analyses, presentations, valuations, and risk registers
- Coordinating third-party advisers and contributing to internal business development projects
- The role will involve travel of up to five days per year.
Desired experience and competencies
- Relevant post-graduate experience in private equity, principal investments, infrastructure/energy, corporate finance, or a related field
- Solid skills in valuation, financial modelling, analysis, and PowerPoint presentations, with the ability to draw clear, data-driven conclusions based on analysis
- Familiarity with US tax equity and structuring would be considered an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proven skills in valuation, financial modelling, and corporate finance
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and workstreams

To support future fundraising activities and a growing investor base, AIP is looking to grow the Investor Relations team and expand its Investor Servicing and Project Management capabilities.
