Our company is seeking a Manager of Account Management who is responsible for leading client relationships, supporting revenue growth, and overseeing the successful execution of print, direct mail, and related programs in collaboration with internal/external teams. This role ensures alignment between Sales, Account Management, and Operations to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient solutions that meet company/client objectives. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales leadership to support new business development, account expansion, and client strategy 
  • Play an active role in RFP/RFI assignments, responses, proposals, and client presentations  
  • Oversee execution of print, direct mail, and production programs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery with internal/external teams
  • Provide oversight of critical accounts and high-risk projects, including issue resolution and escalation management 
  • Direct account assignment strategy based on client needs, complexity, and growth opportunity 
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes per Sales Leadership direction
  • Foster a high-performance culture through accountability, recognition, and continuous development 
  • Manage performance issues and administer performance improvement plans when necessary 
  • Lead ongoing training and education to strengthen team capabilities and alignment with business objectives 
  • Oversee departmental initiatives, including but not limited to, billing optimization and reduction of billing lag through proactive client communication and internal coordination 
  • Ensure effective transition of client requirements and project scope from Sales to Project Management and Operations 
  • Drive continuous improvement across workflows related to account management, estimating, and production execution 
  • Provide oversight of CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), including root cause analysis and resolution in coordination with Quality teams Provide strategic oversight of government-related programs, including coordination of bids, client communication, and reporting 


Sales Process & Pipeline Management

  • Oversee the Account Management team’s execution of the front-end sales process, including coordination of quotes, proposals, order entry and client communication 
  • Ensure consistency and quality in support of Sales strategy and revenue goals 
  • Drive pipeline discipline through regular review cadence, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper stage alignment 
  • Partner with IT to manage system enhancements, updates, and license 
  • Customer Aging/Sales Commission reporting 
  • Monthly Sales Commission Calendar


 Government & Compliance Programs (USGPO) 

  • Ensure alignment with USGPO requirements and internal processes 
  • Support personnel security vetting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination required for program execution 
  • On-time, 100% delivery and production accuracy 


Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in the Direct Mail manufacturing process – digital, Sheetfed and Web/Inline. 
  • Possess Basic, current knowledge of US postal requirements/promotions
  • Proven experience managing complex client relationships and high-volume programs 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership and team development experience 
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (preferred) 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills 

  

Travel:

Minimal local travel may be required for meetings, trainings, and/or other business purposes
