Job Description: St. Stanislaus School is a faith-based and family-oriented school that has dedicated itself to serving the students of East Chicago for the past 100 years. With a close-knit and small community, our dedicated teachers enjoy teaching our wonderful students and have the support of parents, colleagues, and administration. The teacher is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in a safe and caring environment. Job Requirements: Provide a positive environment and instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and needs. Uses and analyzes data to drive instruction. Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment.
Job Qualifications: Candidate must possess an Indiana teaching license and degree in education.
