    Contract Length: 190 Days

    Position Overview:
    New Market Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Dean of Students to join our team for the 2026�2027 school year. The Dean will play a key role in fostering a positive school climate, supporting student success, and collaborating with staff, families, and administration to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Valid teaching license

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Administrative license
    • Previous administrative or leadership experience in a school setting

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support student behavior, attendance, and overall well-being
    • Assist with discipline and implementation of school-wide discipline procedures
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a positive school culture
    • Build strong relationships with students, families, and community members
    • Support Special Education and PAR Case Conferences
    • Support Attendance & PBIS Incentives
    • Assist administration with daily school operations
    • All other duties as assigned
