Responsibilities



  • Lead the paint development to achieve the expected quality levels in line with OEM specifications, while maintaining committed cost targets (paint consumption, paint scrap, number of parts per mast, etc.).

  • Coordinate a cross‑functional team including plant teams, paint setting, laboratory, suppliers, and customers.

  • Ensure paint process stability (both product and process) with regard to quality requirements.

  • Monitor development activities and ensure conformity of specific painting equipment (e.g., jigs, masking stations).

  • Manage technical relationships with paint raw material suppliers, including paint product validation through “Paint-In” activities and preparation of samples for first runs.

  • Participate in the drafting of purchasing development charts.


 


Your Profile



  • Bachelor’s degree with experience or a Master’s degree.

  • 5 years of experience in the paint field, chemistry, or processes within the automotive industry.

  • Experience participating in project organization.

  • Fluent in German and English
