Job Description

What You Can Expect:

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships

  • Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, identifying, progressing, and securing new opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with product and pricing teams to create competitive value propositions

  • Independently manage customer appointments and on‑site visits

  • Maintain all appointments and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring high data quality and adherence to sales KPIs

  • Prepare and share detailed customer visit reports internally

  • Follow customer onboarding processes and support the creation of SOPs to ensure operational excellence

  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder networks

  • Attend UK sales and other internal meetings as required

  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Commercial Manager (via Teams or face‑to‑face)

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial sales role

  • Strong commercial awareness of customers and industries within Air & Ocean Freight

  • Proven experience in Air & Ocean sales and operations

  • Ability to develop value‑adding customer solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills

  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Experience preparing client proposals and quotations

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
