Job Summary:

Craig’s Cruisers is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager who wants to grow into a General Manager role and help lead a high-volume family entertainment facility with multiple revenue centers, large teams, and fast-moving daily operations.

This is a frontline operating leadership role, not a support position. The AGM helps run the business day to day, drives performance across departments, and leads the park when the General Manager is off-site.

This role is part of Five Star Parks’ leadership pipeline and is designed to prepare strong operators for future General Manager opportunities within the company.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Daily Operations: Drive execution across attractions, arcade, food and beverage, parties, and guest services while improving staffing efficiency, readiness, and overall park performance.
  • Drive Business Results: Support revenue growth through promotions, pricing execution, group business support, and strong in-park leadership while actively managing labor productivity, inventory, and operating costs.
  • Build and Lead Teams: Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline team members across multiple departments. Set expectations, hold standards, and strengthen bench depth.
  • Own the Guest Experience: Ensure a clean, safe, high-energy environment and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Support Attraction and Facility Reliability: Partner with Technical Services to maintain strong attraction uptime and ensure rides, arcade equipment, and facilities consistently meet operating standards.
  • Execute Parties and Group Events: Oversee birthday parties, school visits, and large group events to ensure strong guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Run the Park When Needed: Serve as acting operator in the General Manager’s absence and support execution of company initiatives across the facility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience leading large teams in high-volume hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or multi-department guest environments
  • Strong ownership mindset around labor performance, cost control, and daily execution
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with multiple attractions or revenue centers
  • Experience coordinating across food service, retail, events, or facility operations strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and peak seasonal periods
  • Interest in growing into a General Manager role within a multi-location organization

Leadership Development Path: 

As part of Five Star Parks’ commitment to building future operators, Assistant General Managers participate in a structured development path designed to prepare them for General Manager roles. 

AGMs gain exposure across all major departments, including attractions, arcade, food and beverage, groups and events, and facility operations. Leaders are paired with experienced General Managers and senior operators who provide coaching, feedback, and career guidance throughout the process. 

This role is designed as a pipeline position for future General Manager opportunities within Five Star Parks.

Mobility Expectation: 

Because this position is part of a leadership pipeline supporting multiple locations, candidates must be open to relocation opportunities as advancement opportunities arise. 

Participants sign a mobility agreement upon entering the development track and receive relocation support when required to move. One relocation request may be declined.
