Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support technoeconomic modeling and global supply chain analysis for next-generation green steel production. This role will work closely with the process engineering team to develop data-driven insights that inform feedstock sourcing, facility siting, and commercialization strategy.

This is a temporary, full-time internship lasting approximately 3 months.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate global datasets related to mining, mineral resources, and industrial byproducts

  • Develop classification frameworks for feedstock quality and processing pathways

  • Build first-order transportation and logistics cost models across multiple geographies

  • Support development of global opportunity maps and siting analyses

  • Prepare structured inputs and datasets for technoeconomic analysis (TEA) models

  • Document methodologies and assumptions for internal and investor-facing materials

Key Qualifications

  • Background in engineering, data science, or related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Excel and/or Python (GIS is a plus, not required)

  • Interest in climate tech, industrial decarbonization, or supply chains

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
