Job Title: Business Analyst (BA3) – Clinical Adoption Lead

Program: Provincial Clinical Information Solution (CIS) – Symbio
Duration: 2 Years (Possible Extension)
Start Date: May 2026 (or earlier)
Work Model: Remote (Monthly travel to New Brunswick required)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Adoption Lead (BA3) to support a large-scale Clinical Information System (CIS/EHR) transformation initiative across New Brunswick.

This role will play a key part in driving adoption among frontline clinicians by ensuring smooth implementation of standardized workflows, documentation processes, and care protocols.

The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between clinical stakeholders, program leadership, and implementation teams to ensure a successful rollout, adoption, and optimization of the CIS solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical adoption and engagement initiatives across multiple healthcare sites
  • Support implementation of standardized clinical content, including order sets, documentation templates, and care protocols
  • Conduct workflow walkthroughs, readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Develop training materials, quick reference guides, and communication resources
  • Coordinate clinical validation and usability testing with subject matter experts
  • Support go-live activities and post-go-live stabilization efforts
  • Identify and mitigate adoption risks and change management impacts
  • Facilitate collaboration among physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)

Clinical Credential (Critical Requirement)

  • Must have current or recent (within the last 5 years) registration as a regulated health professional in Canada
  • Examples include RN, NP, RT, OT, PT, or equivalent allied health professionals
  • This requirement is mandatory to ensure clinical credibility with frontline users

Clinical Business Analysis Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent role
  • Experience must include:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Clinical workflow analysis
    • Documentation
    • Stakeholder facilitation

CIS/EHR Implementation Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working on CIS/EHR implementations
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Clinical content build
    • Testing and validation
    • Go-live support

Multi-Site Clinical Rollout Experience

  • Experience implementing standardized clinical documentation and protocols across regional or multi-site healthcare environments

Bilingual Requirement

  • Must be fluent in both English and French (verbal and written)

Availability

  • Must be available to start as per project timelines

Highly Preferred Skills

Clinical Content Implementation

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience implementing standardized clinical content within an acute care CIS/EHR environment
  • Experience with:
    • Order sets
    • Clinical documentation templates
    • Care protocols
  • Experience at regional or provincial scale is highly preferred

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering training and adoption support to frontline clinicians
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
  • Experience in clinical change management and communication strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools
  • Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools
  • Previous experience working within Canadian public healthcare systems is preferred
