To accelerate this mission, we are scaling our Marketplace to offer a wider, more specialized selection of sports products. We are looking for a proactive, data-driven Business Developer with a strong sense of ownership to build a premium ecosystem of partner brands and elevate our digital presence.

The Mission

Your mission is to accelerate the growth of Decathlon’s Marketplace by expanding a relevant partner ecosystem while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. You will act as a Project Owner, identifying new business opportunities, onboarding key partners, and driving initiatives that streamline processes to scale our offer sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partner Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Drive Market Share: Build a powerful, high-quality partner ecosystem by identifying and approaching key sellers, brands, and distributors.
  • Assortment Growth: Expand product variety across priority categories to ensure our digital offer remains competitive.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust lead pipeline and negotiate win-win partnerships that align with Decathlon’s values.
  • Success Incubation: Closely support new partners during their initial launch phase to ensure long-term growth and platform success.

2. Operational Excellence & Customer Experience

  • Uphold Standards: Ensure partners deliver a seamless customer experience by monitoring SLAs, operational performance, and service quality.
  • Process Oversight: Manage essential operational flows, including tax documentation and payment coordination.
  • Problem Solving: Act as the bridge between partners and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

3. Project Management & Regional Collaboration

  • Drive Innovation: Take ownership of cross-functional projects to optimize marketplace performance and scalability.
  • Proactive Solutions: Identify process gaps and propose data-driven solutions to elevate the business.
  • Regional Synergy: Work closely with APAC teams to leverage global tools, share best practices, and contribute to the broader Decathlon Ecosystem vision.

Requirements

  • Professional Background: Experience in E-commerce marketplaces, with a focus on Business Development, Sales, Seller Acquisition or Platform Management.
  • Proactive Mindset: Highly motivated with a strong drive to deliver measurable impact.
  • Communication Expert: Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic Ownership: Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives independently.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Language: Native-level fluency in Thai and proficiency in English.
