About this Position


Primary – Build patient accounts, verify insurance, manage assigned WQs, pursue collection of accounts with insurance companies and patients, phone call duties, answer patient account questions, takes payment by phone, help coordinate credentialing functions, assist Director of Clinic Financial Services and CFS administrator with any additional assigned duties.   


Required Qualifications



  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)


Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:



  • OK Driver's License required  


Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:



  • Computer knowledge, customer service skills, phone etiquette, organization skills, the ability to meet deadlines, understand patient demographics, research accounts, and multi-tasking skills. 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Vocational/Technical

    • Insurance/billing collections experience in a medical setting preferred. 



    • Knowledge of payor resources, payor portal, claim issues, ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

    • Technical training in the medical billing/collections field is acceptable.
