Instructional Technology - Multimedia Production Assistant

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain recording studios, ensuring equipment is set up and functioning properly. 
  • Assist in the capture of multimedia production, which may include operating cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment during recording sessions. 
  • Help with equipment setup and teardown for recording sessions. 
  • Collaborate with the instructional design team to understand project requirements and objectives. 
  • Participate in post-production tasks, including video and audio editing, captioning, and ensuring content quality. 

Required Qualifications

A qualified candidate should bring a strong interest in multimedia production to excel in this role. Additionally, the ability to learn and adapt to new software and equipment is essential for growth and success. The candidate should also meet these qualifications: 

  • Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient studio environment. 
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the instructional design team and other colleagues. 
  • Time management and multitasking abilities to meet project deadlines.
