PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and verify against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Accurately stage, store, and retrieve materials based on production schedules and inventory needs.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform inventory transactions in warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Support production by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory movements.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety initiatives.
- Frequent exposure to warehouse or manufacturing environments.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of material handling, warehouse, or logistics experience.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices.
- Ability to read and interpret bills of materials, work orders, and shipping documents.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners or RF devices.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
