Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted English language instruction aligned to students’ proficiency levels (WIDA standards)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support language development across content areas
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that integrate listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and interventions
- Contribute to a culturally responsive and inclusive school environment
Qualifications:
- New Jersey State Certification in ESL (K-12) or eligibility for certification.
- Knowledge of WIDA Standards and second language acquisition best practices
- Experience working with multilingual learners in an elementary (K–5) setting preferred
