Job Description

Swagelok Pittsburgh, located just north of downtown Pittsburgh, is seeking a motivated and customer- focused Customer & Product Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll become a trusted partner to our B2B customers, helping them solve real‑world technical challenges, supporting critical applications, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

What You’ll Do

Deliver exceptional customer service by:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries and building strong, long‑term B2B relationships
  • Understanding customer applications and providing basic technical product support, including product selection and compliant Swagelok solutions
  • Processing and managing customer quote requests, purchase orders, and order changes with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing data within SAP Business One and various internal CRM systems
  • Following up on open quotes, opportunities, and supporting the Sales team in meeting team goals
  • Proactively communicating order status, resolving discrepancies, and confirming requirements
  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with Warehouse, Field Engineering, Custom Solutions, outside vendors, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and ongoing training

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of related work experience (Customer Service, Inside Sales, or B2B experience preferred)
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • High level of organization, accuracy, and multitasking
    • Strong ability and desire to learn about our products and services
    • Ability to balance individual responsibilities with team goals
  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Full‑time, in‑office, Monday–Friday. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and listen. The role requires standing, walking, and sitting, and occasional lifting of equipment up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
