Job Overview
JP Tank Inc is seeking an experienced CDL Driver to support field operations and logistics for our growing concrete construction company. This role centers on operating a Schwing 46-meter concrete pump truck during concrete placements on agricultural infrastructure projects.
When not operating the pump, this role assists with transporting equipment and materials using a CDL semi-truck and trailer, while also helping maintain an organized and efficient shop yard in Rosendale, WI. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating heavy equipment in active construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
Concrete Pump Truck Operation
Operate and manage the company’s Schwing 46-meter concrete pump truck during concrete placements.
Set up and stabilize the pump truck before pours.
Coordinate with foremen and jobsite crews during concrete placements.
Monitor pump operation before, during, and after pumping.
Safely manage boom positioning and movement during pours.
Communicate with concrete truck drivers and excavation crews to ensure efficient placement operations.
Pump Setup, Cleanup & Maintenance
Perform full pump preparation and shutdown procedures.
Manage hoses and pump setup for safe operation.
Perform washout and cleanup after pours.
Grease and lubricate pump components as required.
Conduct routine pump inspections.
Perform minor to mid-level pump maintenance.
Report mechanical issues or repair needs promptly.
CDL Driving & Jobsite Logistics
Transport equipment and materials to project sites using a semi-truck and trailer.
- Haul materials such as:
Concrete forms
Rebar
Job trailers
Shipping containers
Telehandlers
Skid loaders
Mini excavators
Other construction equipment and jobsite materials
Safely transport oversized or wide loads when required.
Shop Yard Operations
Load and unload equipment and materials from trailers.
Organize returned materials from job sites.
Maintain organized equipment storage areas.
Assist with trailer organization and equipment staging.
Support general shop cleaning and yard maintenance.
Ensure the shop yard remains organized and ready for upcoming projects.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks including:
Greasing equipment
Checking fluid levels
Inspecting equipment condition
Assist in coordinating equipment repairs.
Help maintain trailers and small equipment used by field crews.

Qualifications
- Required
CDL Class A License
Air Brake Endorsement
Previous concrete pump operation experience
Ability to safely operate a semi-truck and trailer
Experience operating construction or heavy equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in outdoor construction environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Diesel engine knowledge
Hydraulic system knowledge
Heavy equipment repair experience
Construction industry experience
Experience transporting construction equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to climb ladders and work around heavy equipment
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks as required

Work Schedule
Full-Time
Monday – Friday
Approximately 40–50 hours per week
Concrete pours may require early morning start times
Non-pour days typically begin around 7:00 AM
Occasional overtime depending on project needs
Work Location
Primary Location: Rosendale, Wisconsin
Most work occurs on projects within Wisconsin and the Midwest
Limited travel may be required for certain projects
Company vehicles are provided for transportation when traveling
