Job Overview
The Irrigation Install Team Member is responsible for the installation of irrigation systems primarily for residential properties. This role supports the full installation process, including system layout, trenching, piping, head placement, and control panel installation. The irrigation team ensures all plant material—lawns, landscape beds, trees, and shrubs—receives proper and efficient water coverage.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the installation of residential irrigation systems from start to finish
Install irrigation components including pipe, fittings, elbows, valves, heads, and drip systems
Perform trenching and backfilling for irrigation lines
Assist with installation and setup of irrigation control panels/timers to manage water flow and scheduling
Ensure proper coverage for turf, planting beds, trees, and other landscape areas
Operate and maintain hand tools and basic installation equipment
Assist with system testing, adjustments, and troubleshooting during installation
Follow job plans, layouts, and direction from crew leaders
Assist with job site setup, organization, and cleanup at the beginning and end of each day
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while working on job sites
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards
Other duties as assigned

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require
Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and work on uneven surfaces and terrain
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
