Job Description

Your job:



  • Maximize direct and indirect sales as well as market share for the assigned strategic customers in the Gas Processing segment

  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers

  • Acquire strategic and sustainable business opportunities with assigned customers

  • Develop and implement global customer strategies and account plans for the assigned accounts

  • Ensure the achievement of quantitative and qualitative targets

  • Support the development of solution concepts and customer-specific offerings regarding products and applications

  • Lead international contract and price negotiations

  • Ensure regular collaboration with the buying centers of assigned customers, Festo subsidiaries, and various headquarters functions

  • Provide functional leadership to the customer team and ensure joint success

  • Ensure overall profitability of the assigned customers


 


Your qualification: 



  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automation, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in the chemical industry, ideally related to gas processing

  • Strong industry, product, and application knowledge in automation for process industries, particularly in gas processing (e.g., equipment for the production, purification, and distribution of hydrogen, nitrogen, or carbon dioxide)

  • Several years of international sales experience with responsibility for customer acquisition, customer development, and contract negotiations is desirable

  • Experience in project acquisition and revenue responsibility is an advantage

  • Functional leadership experience is a plus

  • Business-fluent English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage

  • Strong consulting orientation, persuasive communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in intercultural collaboration

  • High willingness to travel
