Job Summary:
The Cloud Systems Engineer plays a critical role in supporting and evolving our enterprise cloud platform and SaaS solutions. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure—ensuring applications are always available, highly performant, and secure while supporting thousands of customers globally. This role is ideal for someone with strong AWS expertise and hands-on experience in enterprise-grade workload automation using SOS Berlin JS7.
A Day in the Life Typically includes:
· Deploy, configure, administer, and support SOS Berlin JS7 for workload automation, including complex workflows, scheduling, integration into cloud-based SaaS platforms, and ongoing optimization.
· Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure components (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, networking, security controls, and best practices).
· Support the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments within AWS.
· Automate infrastructure, operational workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and production operations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across networking, compute, storage, performance, security, and system integrations.
· Monitor system health, performance, and availability using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
· Work closely with security teams to implement cloud governance, security controls, IAM policies, and support compliance requirements (including SAML authentication where applicable).
· Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to enhance system reliability and scalability.
· Collaborate with development, operations, product, and architecture teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application needs and delivers enterprise-grade performance.
· While training the position requires working U.S. business day. Once independent can transition of India business day.
Basic Qualifications:
· Proven experience implementing, administering, and supporting SOS Berlin JS7 workload automation (enterprise-grade scheduling and workflow orchestration).
· 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud environments, with strong expertise in AWS (deep understanding of VPC, networking, IAM, security controls, and best practices).
· Experience with Linux and Windows system administration in a cloud context (Windows required; Linux a plus).
· Experience with PowerShell scripting (required).
· Solid understanding of networking concepts including load balancing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and secure architectures.
· Ability to learn quickly, adapt in a fast-paced SaaS environment, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
· AWS Professional-level certification (or Associate-level such as Solutions Architect Associate) or equivalent (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator).
