About the Role:
Join the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center Inc as a Program Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in supporting our community's most vulnerable members. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily operations of food distribution programs and support services.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the community and increase program participation.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling to ensure efficient program delivery.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and prepare reports for stakeholders and funding sources.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to enhance service offerings.
  • Assist in fundraising efforts and grant applications to secure necessary funding.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all program activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a welcoming environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or nonprofit operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
