Position: Heavy Equipment Service Technician (Shop-Based)
Location: Novi, Michigan
Compensation is 22-45.00 hour based on experience and certifications
Overtime: Available and paid at time + ½

What You'll Do

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment:

    • Dirt movers

    • Lifts

    • Paving and milling machines

    • Environmental equipment

  • Conduct functionality and safety tests

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues

  • Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics

  • Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics

  • Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards

  • Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in shop or field service repair

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong 12/24 volt electrical and hydraulic knowledge

    • Proficiency with diagnostics tools and software

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs

    • Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions

  • Other Requirements:

    • High school diploma or trade school certification

    • Valid driver's license

    • Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

    • Able to pass a background check and drug screen (includes testing for medical marijuana)
