Job Description
Driven by Innovation and built on Trust, rockITdata is a unique SDVOSB services company that partners with leading commercial healthcare/life sciences organizations on cutting edge innovations - think AI, automation and data transformation. We then bring those commercially tested solutions to  government entities to deliver predictable, measurable impact for the American taxpayer and consumer.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Healthcare EHR Program Management Designer to support large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation and optimization initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of program management, healthcare operations, and data analytics, helping translate complex project data into clear insights for executive leadership.

The ideal candidate understands healthcare technology environments, particularly EHR systems, and has the ability to transform operational and project data into compelling executive-level narratives. This individual will collaborate with consulting teams, client stakeholders, and internal technical resources to optimize how project data is collected, analyzed, and communicated.

This role is well-suited for a self-starter with strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems in complex healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities
  •  Program & Project Reporting

    • Work with multiple consulting teams to gather, analyze, and synthesize project data related to EHR deployment and operational readiness.
    • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows to support consistent execution across teams.
    • Translate complex operational and project metrics into clear executive-level reporting and dashboards.
  • Executive Communication
    • Prepare and maintain executive presentations and reporting packages for project leadership, deployment readiness reviews, and go-live activities.
    • Ensure data and reporting accurately reflect project progress, risks, and readiness indicators.
  • Data Strategy & Optimization
    • Assess and improve processes for collecting, organizing, and reporting project data
    • Recommend and implement improvements to tools, reporting frameworks, and workflows that enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
    • Partner with internal technical teams to support the development or configuration of tools that improve reporting and data management.
  • Client & Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with client stakeholders and consulting teams to ensure consistent and reliable data collection across the program.
    • Facilitate conversations across teams to reconcile data inputs, clarify reporting requirements, and maintain alignment on program metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve how project performance is communicated to leadership.
    • Help establish repeatable reporting frameworks that can scale across multiple healthcare technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare environments, preferably supporting health IT or EHR-related initiatives.
  • 5+ years experience supporting project or program management activities, including status reporting and executive communications.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, including Microsoft Project; ability to build and manage project timelines across multiple teams.
  • Strong experience developing SOPs, process documentation, or operational playbooks.
  • Ability to understand and map workflows, dependencies, and system interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience creating executive presentations and program reporting materials.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementations or deployments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operational data, program metrics, and deployment readiness indicators.
  • Experience improving data collection frameworks or reporting processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.

What We’re Looking For
  • A self-starter with a “go-getter” mindset who is comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • Someone who can bridge the gap between data, operations, and executive decision-making.
  • A collaborator who enjoys working with both technical and operational teams.
  • A professional who takes ownership of problems and proactively identifies solutions.
