What we’re looking for in a Controller
- Skilled: Ten (10) or more years’ professional accounting experience, including managing accounting functions for multiple legal entities. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business, accounting, or related field of study, with CPA or CMA certification and previous construction experience are both preferred. Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable: Working knowledge of national, state and local tax regulations and compliance reporting, along with experience with financial reporting requirements. Experience in streamlining accounting processes while maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Team Player: Humble. Self-motivated, with a creative mindset and an eagerness to embrace challenges to find the best solution possible.
- Passionate: Excited about Solar Energy. Desire to continuously learn and build your knowledge and skills, with full company support for ongoing training and development.

- Provide guidance and leadership to accounting team for all entities while working closely with our Accounting Manager and provide leadership for the timely completion of all requested and required compilations, review and audits, and working with 3rd party accountants, as needed
- Develop, monitor, manage and analyze financial statements, including combined statements, for all entities, including payroll, budgets, tax compliance, etc. while maintaining appropriate internal controls and guidelines, and develop and maintain effective, efficient and intuitive KPI’s and dashboards for managers, revenue centers, executives and partners for all entities
