What We Are Offering

We offer students who are actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering various internship positions within our Nuremberg team. Additionally, we are open to supporting students in completing their bachelor’s or master’s thesis at Ranovus, based on an industry-relevant topic.

Examples of internship activities include:


  • Assisting in the design and simulation of full-custom analog circuits in CMOS technology.

  • Assisting in the design and simulation of full-custom integrated circuits.

  • Investigating ASIC-related CAD tools.

  • Performing characterization of existing electrical and photonic ASICs.

  • Generating system simulation models with MATLAB for transmission systems.

  • Developing electrical hardware PCBs for test circuits.

  • Measuring and characterizing optical components.

The specific topics can be agreed upon collaboratively, based on the student’s interests, university requirements, and the company’s needs.
