The Opportunity
Seaside Chevrolet in Shediac has an opening for a Service Advisor.
The Service Advisor is the first point of contact with customers who are in for service. You are responsible for meeting the customer, discussing the issues with their vehicle and the repairs that are needed.

Responsibilities
Greet customers when they arrive for service and discuss the repairs needed.
Answer phone calls and emails from customers, to book an appointment for service.
Write up a repair order and document customers concern to ensure accurate information is provided to the mechanic.
Keep the customer informed while the truck is being repaired.
Check and advise the customers if repairs are approved under warranty.
Submit warranty claims.
Qualifications
Completed high school or equivalent
Post-secondary education is an asset
Must be bilingual in English and French
Must have a valid driver's licenses and a clean driver's abstract
Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program
Technical knowledge of vehicles is required
Previous experience in a customer service or sales role is an asset
Experience in the truck industry, rental or automotive industry is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills
A good team player, has a sense of urgency and has the ability to multi-task
Good work ethic
