Job Description

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Men's Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Therapist at our Orem, Utah clinic, earning $28.50–$44.03/hour. In this onsite role, you'll work directly with male individuals navigating substance use challenges in a supportive, client-centered environment. You'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team that values compassion, innovation, and real impact-while still offering a flexible, balanced work culture where your clinical voice matters.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-8:00 PM
Compensation: $28.50–$44.03 DOE and licensure

What You'll Do as a Therapist

  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices for substance use treatment
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Document services and client progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous quality improvement
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and safety standards in all clinical work

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
  • Experience working with substance use disorders preferred.
  • Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
  • Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
  • Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a stipend.
