GBS Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting applications for the position of Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst. Successful candidates will join the Corporate Audit organization, which provides assurance, advisory, cost recovery and investigation support services to the enterprise.

Overview:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering advanced analytics, reporting, automation, and emerging technology solutions to enable audit execution and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with auditors, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate data and efficiency needs into scalable, sustainable analytics, predictive, and AI-enabled solutions. The position operates as an individual contributor, providing end-to-end solution design and delivery within an enterprise data environment and reports to the Sr. Manager of Operations and Analytics with a dotted line to local IT audit management. 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide advanced analytical services to support audit planning, execution, and reporting. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting, dashboards, and automation solutions that improve audit efficiency and insight generation. 
  • Design and implement data analytics, predictive models, and AI-enabled solutions (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, GenAI use cases aligned with enterprise governance). 
  • Collaborate with auditors, business partners, and technology teams to identify opportunities to address data, reporting, and efficiency needs. 
  • Translate business and audit requirements into technical solutions, including data models, interfaces, and automation logic. 
  • Apply knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and system interfaces to ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity. 
  • Stay current on emerging analytics, automation, and AI technologies and proactively recommend opportunities for adoption. 
  • Serve as an analytics product lead for assurance-related solutions, partnering with platform Product Owners for prioritization and delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement and capability development within the Audit organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. 
  • 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, reporting, automation, or related analytical roles. 
  • Proven experience designing and delivering analytics and automation solutions in a large enterprise environment. 
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI or comparable platforms). 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with enterprise data architecture, data lake, and cloud-based analytics platforms. 
  • Exposure to audit, risk, compliance, or finance functions within large organizations. 
  • Relevant certifications (analytics platforms, cloud technologies, CIA/CISA) are a plus.
