Role Summary

For one of our strategic clients, a leading player in the printer and multifunctional copier industry, we manage the end-to-end supply chain. From our central distribution center (EDC) in Born, together with several regional distribution centers (RDCs), we coordinate goods flows throughout the entire EMEA region.
As a BI & RPA Specialist, you work closely with the Operations Excellence team and other departments. You ensure that data is translated into clear and actionable insights. You manage Azure SQL databases, develop dashboards, and support management and the client in making well-informed decisions. In addition, you improve processes by automating manual tasks using RPA and by building smart applications in Power Apps. You look beyond the EDC and contribute to the standardization of data solutions and reporting across multiple sites within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

You analyze large datasets, translate technical analyses into understandable insights for the business, and develop data and automation solutions based on organizational needs. You help build a strong data foundation and promote a culture where data-driven and efficient working is central.

You report to the Control Tower Manager and are part of the OpEx team, consisting of five dedicated colleagues. Together, you work in a dynamic, open, and innovative environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are key.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI that support management and the client in data-driven decision-making.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.

• Translate technical analyses into clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders.

• Actively collaborate with different departments to identify their information needs and translate them into appropriate data solutions.

• Develop and maintain Azure SQL solutions for reporting and analysis.

• Automate manual and repetitive processes using N8N and Python.

• Promote the standardization of data solutions and reporting across multiple sites to ensure scalability and uniform processes.

• Actively contribute to fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, communicatively strong professional with strong analytical skills and experience in a coordinating role within a 4PL environment.

We are seeking a candidate with:

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO), preferably in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a BI Specialist, Data Analyst, or in a similar role, ideally within a logistics environment.

• Experience with Azure SQL, Power BI, and RPA.

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python or JavaScript.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for various audiences.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• A proactive mindset focused on process improvement and contributing to a data-driven way of working.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
