POSITION SUMMARY:

• Will be responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, evaluating, and assessing both instructional material and student performance.
• Responsible for communicating student progress with parents/guardians and reporting student performance for local and state records.
• Would have the potential to teach grades 6-12.
• Coaching and Advisory Assignments Available.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelor's (BA/BS) Degree Required.
• Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification is required.
• One to three years of teaching experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field
• Ability to teach College Writing & Literature Coursework or ability to obtain.

SALARY RANGE:

• Union contract salary range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $50,319 - $62,319
